Browbands
A well-fitting browband is essential for your horse’s comfort and overall bridle fit. Use the chart below to find the right size for your horse, based on the measurement from end to end (including loops).
| Horse Size | Browband Length |
|---|---|
| Shetland | 13" / 33 cm |
| Pony | 14" / 35.5 cm |
| Cob | 15" / 38 cm |
| Full | 16" / 40.6 cm |
| Warmblood | 17" / 43.2 cm |
How to Measure:
- Lay your current browband flat and measure from one end to the other, including the loops.
- Or, measure across your horse’s forehead from the base of one ear to the other where the browband will sit.
💡 A browband that's too small can pinch behind the ears, while one that's too large may droop or sit awkwardly.
Dog Jackets
To ensure the perfect fit for your pup, please measure your dog and refer to the size chart below. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort. Dimensions of our jackets can be found in the product images.
Tip: We highly recommend measuring your dog before ordering, as our sizing may differ from other brands.
| Size | Neck | Chest Girth | Back Length |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 20–29 cm | 26–35 cm | 25 cm |
| S | 30–37 cm | 36–45 cm | 42 cm |
| M | 38–45 cm | 56–65 cm | 50 cm |
| L | 46–53 cm | 66–75 cm | 60 cm |
| XL | 54–61 cm | 76–90 cm | 69 cm |
| XXL | 62–70 cm | 91–115 cm | 82 cm |
📏 How to Measure:
- Neck: Measure around the base of the neck, where the collar normally sits.
- Chest (Girth): Measure the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
- Back Length: Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
🧵 Fit Tips:
- If your dog is between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.
- Ensure the jacket allows free movement around the legs and shoulders.
- For deep-chested breeds (e.g. French Bulldogs, Great Danes), prioritise chest measurement.

Ear Bonnets
Our bonnets are handmade with soft, slightly stretchy fabric, giving them a flexible fit. Use the table below to help choose the right size based on your horse’s ear and head measurements. (Note: the measurements listed are the final measurements of the bonnets based on a standard U-shaped bonnet.)
| Size | Ear Fabric Piece (H × W) | Crown Width (across ear base, flat) | Crown Length (poll to bonnet tip) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shetland | 11 × 7 cm | 20 cm (8 in) | 25 cm (10 in) |
| Pony | 14 × 8 cm | 24 cm (9.5 in) | 28 cm (11 in) |
| Cob | 16 × 9 cm | 26 cm (10.25 in) | 32 cm (12.5 in) |
| Full | 18 × 10 cm | 28 cm (11 in) | 36 cm (14 in) |
| Warmblood | 20 × 11 cm | 30 cm (12 in) | 40 cm (15.75 in) |
✨ How to Measure Your Horse
- Ear length & width – Measure from the base to the tip of one ear for height, and across the base for width. (This is the flat base width, not the full circumference.)
- Crown width – Measure across the horse’s head from where the bonnet will sit on one side to the other.
- Crown length – Measure from the centre of the poll (where the bonnet rests) down to the centre of the forehead where the bonnet tip will sit.
👉 If your horse is between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for comfort.
Reins
Choosing the right rein length depends on both your horse’s size and your personal riding preference. The chart below provides a general recommendation, but if you prefer a longer rein loop or ride with more slack, we suggest going up a size.
| Length (feet) | Length (meters) | Recommended for |
|---|---|---|
| 6 ft | 1.8 m | Pony |
| 8 ft | 2.4 m | Cob |
| 10 ft | 3.0 m | Full |
